Did you know that the tallest building in Boston’s downtown core also contains the largest Passive House office space in the world? Join PHMass board member Brad Mahoney, Director of Sustainable Development at MP Boston to hear all about this extraordinary project.
Winthrop Center brings Passive House standards to a next-generation commercial office building in downtown Boston. This project case study presentation will be a deep dive into the Passive House certification strategy and how the project team navigated the complexities of this ambitious project. It will also explore how climate and sustainability play a critical role in attracting tenants, and how the conversation around sustainable value and market perception has changed since the project started in 2016.
